We currently offer the following “green” services.

  • Economic evaluation of LEED alternatives

Construction Contract Referee (CCR)

The purpose of the CCR is to provide a vehicle for resolving disagreements soon after they emerge and before they become a dispute. The Construction Contract Referee (CCR) serves actively as a dispute resolution advisor, over the course of the contract. The CCR is present when the contracting parties sign their agreement and remains on-call over the entire course of the project to help resolve disputes, when needed. The CCR becomes intimately familiar with the contract and adequately serves both contracting parties impartially.

CCR Advantages

  • Timely resolution of disputes
  • Maintain focus on the project instead of on one's legal position
  • Informal process involving the parties closest to the project
  • Avoid expansive legal and court expenses
  • Eliminate the risk of placing your fate (dispute decision) in the hands of someone with limited project or enterprise knowledge
  • Contractor gets paid much quicker
  • Total contract cost are known much sooner
  • Maintains the relationship between the parties as non-adversarial
  • Reduces the impact of pending claims by resolving disputes as they arise

  • Facilitates negotiation between the parties leading to a WIN-WIN situation
