Estimating
We work with the insurance
industry through damage assessments, the construction industry through
project estimating and as a legal aid to dispute resolution. We have developed
and refined our own proprietary estimating system as well as extensive
experience in applying RS Means Cost Data and the Xactimate software estimating
systems in a project specific manner.

Management Consulting Services for cost-effective and timely construction
management. We also provide Project Support Services including, document

MacGiffert Management’s VP International
Operations, Matthew MacGiffert says, “we are very busy providing damage

the goal of assisting homeowners and businesses recover from this tragedy
as soon as possible.” The types of properties currently under contract
include high rise office structures, high rise condominiums and industrial
complexes. All reconstruction estimates are being produced utilizing Xactimate
software both in English and Spanish language, English and metric quantities
and US dollars, UF currency and Chilean Pesos. In addition, MacGiffert

Texas, Hurricane Ike Damage & Reconstruction Assessment
Over the past two years.
MacGiffert Management Systems has led the assessment of damage due to Hurricane
Ike on numerous institutional, commercial and residential properties as
an independent building consultant. MacGiffert Management’s team performed
damage assessments and reconstruction estimates utilizing Xactimate software
for 131 buildings with $74.6 million in losses resulting from Hurricanes
Ike. The types of properties assessed included several churches, an entire
school district, hospitals, high rise office buildings, hotels, retail
plazas and malls, commercial warehouses, apartment complexes, and residences. |
